Board shorts wholesale for your buyer channel

A retail size curve, a surf-club logo program and a private-label repeat order need different answers. Describe the intended wearer and purchase objective before selecting the configuration to request.

Fit decision: identify the wearer group and how the approved sample will be evaluated.

Turn the channel into measurable inputs

Retail size assortment and board-short labels

Retail and ecommerce assortment

Plan the size curve before asking for a bulk total. The waist measurement, outseam and grading rule should be consistent with your intended fit, and the fabric weight should be confirmed in gsm. State colorway quantities, individual bags, hangtags and any carton labels separately.

  • Request the exact finished-measurement table and measurement points.
  • List fiber-content and label information to review for the proposed garment.
  • Ask which sample version represents the saleable configuration.

Clubs, events and team merchandise

Logo visibility and wearer fit may matter more than a broad seasonal assortment. Identify the artwork owner, placement dimensions and approval sequence. A 240-piece example split over four sizes requires four explicit counts, not an assumed equal size ratio. The example describes an RFQ input, not an offered production quantity.

  • Record decoration method and artwork revision.
  • Separate sample approval date from required US arrival date.
  • Specify whether mixed-size cartons need sorting labels.
Approved fit reference for repeat board-short purchases

Private-label repeat purchasing

Replenishment needs a controlled reference rather than a remembered product name. Retain the approved sample and size chart revision; ask suppliers to declare any material, dye, trim or construction changes. A familiar label does not prove that the later lot matches the original reference.

  • Define acceptable shade and measurement tolerances with the approver.
  • Compare the same fabric composition and requested construction.
  • Confirm pack ratio and carton dimensions for the new order.

Application language is not item evidence

Lightweight versus structured fabric

Lower fabric weight may suit packing or a lighter feel, while a different construction may suit coverage or finish. Neither number alone establishes wear resistance. Ask what material and evaluation method the supplier used for the proposed item.

Unit price versus delivered scope

Compare artwork charges, labels, samples, pack contents, freight assumptions and destination costs. A lower ex-factory price cannot be treated as a lower delivered total until those fields match.

Label review versus broad approval

Textile label questions may include fiber content, origin and responsible-party information. Request item-specific details; neither a product family reference nor an unrelated certificate establishes compliance.
